The seventh edition of the ethical fashion exhibition will take place within one month : from 25th to 28th September.

Ethical Fashion Show® is THE show of ethical fashion, dedicated to professionals and the general public : the organizers are expecting more than 3000 visitors and about a hundred of exhibitors. This event is a major one : a real place of meetings and exchanges.

The exhibition is under the High Patronage of the Directorate General of Social Cohesion responsible for piloting strategy for the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion in France. The global theme of the Show is biodiversity.

The patron for 2010 is Tasha de Vasconcelos – super model, actress and muse for the most prestigious brands. She has dedicated her time to humanitarian as a UNICEF ambassador and Pasteur Institute. In 2006, she founded the humanitarian association AMOR (World Aid to Comfort Orphans) that helps orphans and pregnant women on the African continent.   

Ethical Fashion Show® is dedicated to the universe of ethical fashion – it is also a meeting place for designers and professionals with round-tables about important questions such as textile new technologies, sustainable management and use of vegetable dyes, ethics applied to industry, the next prospecting… There will be also couture shows, workshops, photos exhibitions, customizing and beauty areas… : the trendy and responsible fashion guided by the respect for Human and his environment.

Among the well-known ethical brands, there will be Deux Filles en fil, Veja, Les Fées de Bengale, Ombre Claire, Andes Made, or La queue du chat, but also European brands such as Jux, or South-American as Jenny Duarte and Elfer Castro… Some promising designers will appear in this new edition.  

Some of these designers are already on Ethical Trade Place the showroom of ethical fashion – as an exhibitor to inform the visitors.  

The general public will be welcome on Sunday 26th September : on this special day, people will have the opportunity to meet the designers and to buy items from the collections.

As every year, prize-giving ceremonies will reward designers : the Ethical Fashion Enterprise prize sponsored by La Redoute, the Ethical Fashion Show prize and the Sublime Magazine prize.

Save the date and not only for the fashionistas : organic food and sustainable trade are common things today among consumers, but there is a lot of things to do regarding textile and clothing. So look into the conditions of manufacturing our clothes…
