Placer Green et Fashion Week dans la même phrase n’est pas évident au premier abord. Mais quand il s’agit de la Fashion Week de Berlin, le concept prend tout son sens – l’Allemagne ayant commencé bien avant tout le monde à inclure cette notion de durabilité dans la mode.
La Fashion Week de Berlin vient tout juste de commencer (du 5 au 10 juillet). Berlin donne deux fois par an l’opportunité à la mode internationale de faire se rencontrer tous les amateurs de mode, qu’ils soient acheteurs et visiteurs professionnels ou bien encore journalistes. Durant cette période, salons, expositions et diverses manifestations se succèdent à divers endroits de la ville.
- Commençons avec le salon Bread & Butter sur un segment contemporain du ’streetwear’ et de l’urbanwear’ – il existe depuis 2001.
- Pour la mode équitable, le salon Premium et ses diverses expositions présentent le côté durable de la mode, les dernières tendances et surtout les enjeux actuels.
- Une première à cette Fashion Week de Berlin : la présence de l’Ethical Fashion Show sur GreenShowroom. On en profite pour rappeler que l’Ethical Fashion Show sera présent au Carrousel du Louvre, durant la Fashion Week parisienne.
Si celui-ci fait de la mode éthique et des savoir-faire son cheval de bataille et participe à l’éducation et l’influence sur le grand public, GreenShowroom se place sur le créneau du luxe. D’ailleurs la collaboration de ces deux manifestations se tient dans un grand hôtel à Berlin.
On ne répètera pas assez que pour une mode éthique et responsable, il est impératif que les marques de mode parlent avant tout de… mode.
Citons quelques marques comme l’Herbe Rouge sur Premium (référencée sur Ethical Trade Place !), Sakina M’Sa que nous aimons beaucoup et dont nous avons déjà parlé, ou bien encore Ethos une autre jolie marque de mode…
